While I wouldn’t consider myself an Angeleno, I’ve lived in Los Angeles for over 17 years! It has been full of up’s and downs but really it’s been a place of growth. It’s the place where I discovered I wanted to become a chef, it’s the place where I went to culinary school, started my catering and private chef business and opened a restaurant!
Los Angeles has been for me what most people move to La for…opportunities and fame. I’ve been able to cook for countless celebrities, I’ve been featured in a dozen magazines, I’ve been on television and have catered some epic events (I will get into some of these in a future blog 😉).
After all my years and success in Los Angeles, I decided recently to expand my talents to a new state! TEXAS! Houston to be exact. There are a lot of reasons I decided to move to Houston but the ones I will mention now are…opportunities and growth, some of the same reasons a lot of people move to Los Angeles.
Have you ever just felt stagnant where you are at and need a drastic change? This was me. La has been good to me and I will still be in La often but it was time to pack up and step out on faith and try something new. I have never lived outside of California my entire life so this is definitely a major change for me. I am excited to have a place to document my journey as well as process all the emotions that come along with it here with you all.
This blog as I mentioned in my first blog is a way for people to get to know me a little better beyond sound bites and 30 second reels. This blog is personal and I truly hope it encourages you to step out in faith in some area of your life.
